This idol looks very attractive. In this temple, the idol of Lord Shiva has been installed in a sitting posture. This idol looks very attractive. The facial expressions of this statue are very amazing.
There is a cave inside this huge Shiva idol. There are 12 Jyotirlingas installed in this cave. You can have darshan of these 12 Jyotirlingas. You enter the cave through one door and come out through the other door having darshan of the 12 Jyotirlingas and Shivlingas. The replicas of these 12 Jyotirlingas have been brought from different places.This cave remains closed during the festival days. You can come here any day in solitude and visit this cave.
In front of the idol of Lord Shiva, a huge statue of Lord Nandi is get to see. The idol of Lord Nandi is made of white marble. A bell is placed around the neck of this idol. This idol looks very attractive.
A huge garden can be seen around the idol of Lord Shiva. Statues of sages and saints are also made in the garden which looks very beautiful. A sitting area has also been created in the garden, where you can sit comfortably and look at the beautiful statue of Lord Shiva. You get peace by going here. This place of Jabalpur is a religious and peaceful place. There is also grass field in the garden where you can sit.
The credit for the construction of this temple goes to Kachnar builder Mr. Amit Tiwari who has built this temple. There is also a big havan kund in front of the statue of Lord Shiva. Havan is performed here on Sawan Monday and Mahashivaratri. Here you can also circumambulate Lord Shiva. Many people come to this temple in the evening and spend their time.
The Kachnar City Temple is open on all days of the year, and people keep coming and going here. The temple remains open throughout the day on Shivratri and Sawan Mondays. Kachnar City Temple is a very good place to visit in the evening. The lights come on in the evening which makes this temple look even more attractive. You can sit and meditate in the temple. The opening time of Kachnar City Shiva Temple is from morning to evening. This temple opens at 6:00 in the morning and closes after 12:00 in the afternoon. This temple reopens after 5:00 in the evening and remains open till 9:00 in the night. You can come to this temple for a walk during this time and visit the temple.
The temple is open all the time on Mahashivratri and sawan somvar. You can visit the temple anytime on Mahashivratri. In some circumstances the temple is closed.
